Stage Rental

• Stage floor size: 40’ wide x 24’ deep
• Stage height: Approximately 4–5 feet from ground
• Canopy height from stage deck: 16 feet
• Front canopy height: Up to 25 feet from stage floor
• Rear canopy height: Up to 19 feet from stage floor

• Leveling system: Four leveling jacks with 7,000-lb capacity each

• The stage is equipped with a generator that is not available for renter use.
  Renters must supply their own power source.

  Recommended power:

  • 50-amp / 220-volt electrical service

Please Note: The stage is not available for rent 30 days prior to the Umatilla Landing Days Festival and 30 days prior to the Rock the Locks Music Festival. 

Umatilla – Within City Limits / Urban Growth Boundary

• $1,000 – Five-day rental (includes setup and takedown days)

• $100 per additional day

• $250 damage deposit (due at reservation)

Oregon – Within 35 Miles

For-Profit Events

• $4,000 – Five-day rental

• $500 per additional day

• $500 damage deposit

Non-Profit / Non-Revenue Events

• $2,000 – Five-day rental

• $250 per additional day

• $250 damage deposit

Washington – Within 35 Miles

For-Profit Events

• $5,000 – Five-day rental

• $500 per additional day

• $500 damage deposit

Non-Profit / Non-Revenue Events

• $3,000 – Five-day rental

• $250 per additional day

• $250 damage deposit

Distance Fees (Beyond 35 Miles)

• 36–75 miles: $500 additional

• 75–150 miles (maximum): $1,000 additional

All rental fees are due no later than 10 days prior to the rental date(s).
Deposits are due at the time the reservation is made.

Optional Accessories

• Stage skirt (base): $100

• One stairway with handrails: $50

• Two stairways with handrails: $100

• Reservations must be made at least 21 days in advance.

• The City of Umatilla reserves the right to refuse rental for any event that may pose a safety risk or is not in the best interest of the City or the general public.

• Delivery and/or early setup may be arranged; however, the renter must provide security at all times. The stage may never be left unsecured.

• A renter representative must be present at delivery to oversee placement and accept the unit.

• Any damage to the site where the stage is placed is the responsibility of the renter.

• No adhesives, nails, screws, tape (including duct, gaffer’s, or masking tape), or fasteners of any kind may be applied to the stage floor or structure. Any damage will result in full financial responsibility, including replacement costs.

• Chairs, tables, music stands, and other equipment are not provided.

• All City and County ordinances related to noise, traffic, permits, and public safety must be followed.

• Stage staff may stop the event at any time if conditions become unsafe (including winds exceeding 30 mph, crowd behavior, or equipment risk).

• The renter is responsible for obtaining all required permits.

• Lessee must carry maintain property insurance covering the full replacement value of the Equipment against all risks of physical loss or damage, including but not limited to fire, theft, vandalism, and weather-related events. 
• Lessee shall maintain commercial general liability insurance in the amount of $2,000,000 per occurrence and $4,000,000 in the aggregate. The City of Umatilla must be named as an additional insured. Proof of insurance must be provided at least 7 days prior to the Commencement Date. Lessor may cancel this Agreement if insurance requirements are not met.

• Cancellations made at least five (5) working days prior to the rental date are eligible for a full refund.

• Cancellations made after this period will result in forfeiture of the full rental fee.

• If the City of Umatilla is unable to fulfill the rental agreement, all fees will be refunded in full. The City assumes no further liability.
